Ask To See K-9 Certification

(Our Dogs Have Received World-Class Training)

If the company you choose is using a K-9 inspection program, ask where the dogs were trained and request copies of the certification and documentation.

Our K-9s Taylor, Olly, Joey, Jack and Rosie were trained at the Forensic and Scientific K-9 Academy by World Renowned Master Dog Trainer David Latimer in Vincent, Alabama. He has trained and supervised teams in the detection of explosives, narcotics, arson and insect pests and we would be happy to explain why this training is important to our business and yours.

We are members of the World Detector Dog Organization.

Ask To See The Evidence

Canine Bed Bug Detection

Taylor searches a room during an inspection. Bedbugs give off an odor that he is trained to detect.

Ask to see physical evidence of bed bugs, not just a report.

Bed bugs leave signs of where they have been, including blood stains, bed bug fecal matter, or skin sheddings that happen as part of the life cycle of the bed bug. Adult bed bugs are easily seen and even the larvae can be seen with the naked eye. Here at Chappell’s Pest Control, we make sure that property owners have the opportunity to see the evidence of the infestation before we make any recommendation for treatment. (We even use LED lights to show where eggs are present.)

Ask For Referrals

Ask for referrals for the company you are using. Anyone who has been working in the area should have good references of people who will give you an honest opinion on the service they received.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 423-542-9601.
